Samsha came away with the Cruzcampo Gran Reserva Award for Best Menu in the 6th edition.
Samsha was the winner in the 6th edition. In 2012, chef Víctor Rodrigo won both the Spanish Chef of the Year award 2012 and the Cruzcampo Gran Reserva Cuina Oberta Best Menu Award. He and Ana Rubio, the restaurant’s head waiter, received the award from José Salinas, the Director of Valencia Tourism, and Carlos Mataix, the Director of Institutional Relations for Heineken Group’s Mediterranean Arc. The menu was made up of various hors d’oeuvres: flame-grilled octopus and a salmorejo and baba ghanoush duo served with bread, olive oil and beetroot. The main dish was a choice of sea bass with seaweed and a stuffed pastry shell with marinated mousse or guinea fowl with crispy gravy and pineapple coated in wasabi sesame seeds. Dessert was puffed seitan filled with hazelnut gianduja, guava paste, caramel crumble and chocolate pop rocks.
Now, you'll be the first to know the menus of the next edition, and all event information.
