A contest regular with a Michelin star, La Sucursal claimed the prize in the 4th edition.
The menu served by La Sucursal, a Valencia Cuina Oberta fixture since the first edition, was the audience’s choice for the Cuina Oberta Best Menu in the 4th edition, sponsored by Cruzcampo Gran Reserva. Javier de Andrés and Jorge Bretón accepted the award. The menu featured: fillet of mackerel in a light marinade with almond romesco and calçots; free-range egg roasted over a low flame with asparagus and tuna emulsion; cut of beef with polenta and blue-cheese gnocchi; and pear strudel with panna cotta ice cream.
