Alejandro del Toro was selected by www.valenciacuinaoberta.com users to receive the Cruzcampo Gran Reserva Award for Best Menu in the 7th edition.
The winning menu featured truffled eggs with Bellota ham and Alboraia artichokes; mackerel and carmelised foie gras coca bread; king prawns and avocado tartare; creamy meloso rice with langoustines and seasonal mushrooms; and “Chocolate 2012” dessert for lunch and, for dinner, shrimp with chard; 2002 foie gras carajillo, yellow foot mushroom ravioli with Iberian bacon; rich Valencian casserole with Cantabrian hake or crispy suckling pig; and a pińa colada.
