Valencia opens its cuisine to the world with its Restaurant Week competition

The initiative, organised by Turismo Valencia, will take place between 15 and 21 June in 51 restaurants in the city.

The first edition of the Valencia Cuina Oberta-Restaurant Week competition will start in Valencia on 15 June, with 51 restaurants offering their own menu at special prices.

Each restaurant has prepared a menu for the occasion: a lunch menu costing 18 Euros and a different dinner menu which will cost 30 Euros.
Reservations can be made as of 12 June. On the https://www.valenciacuinaoberta.com/ website, you can view participating restaurants and the menu offered by each establishment.

Among the restaurants participating in Valencia Restaurant Week is Riff, which was recently awarded a Michelin star, the traditional Bodega Casa Montaña and the original La Lola. Several hotel restaurants are also involved in this competition, including the Hilton, The Westin Valencia, Sidi Saler and Ayre Astoria.

Through this initiative, Valencia positions itself on a par with cities such as New York, London and Los Angeles who have already successfully celebrated various editions of this gastronomic proposal. Valencia is the first Spanish city to offer tourists this original programme.
