A balloon trip over the valencian vineyards

News Comments Off

Near to Valencia we find Utiel, a traditional wine-making village which is host to the Hoya de Cadenas estate, where Vicente Gandía’s excellent Valencian wines are produced.

A visit to these vineyards is real experience for all senses. A train that runs through the property allows visitors to contemplate the vines responsible for these excellent wines. Visitors also participate in a journey through time when they arrive at vineyard’s old winery, dating on 1820. Upon arrival, visitors enter the barrel room, where a wine-tasting session allows us to enjoy the best selection of local wines. The more daring can visit the vineyard in a hot-air balloon, an amazing way to submerge yourself in this wine-hued world and which includes a toast with Valencian cava at almost a thousand metres in the air.
